Senior Systems Engineer
We seek an experienced, motivated Network Engineer to join the consulting services team of a growing Systems Integration Company situated in the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Responsibilities will include: • Developing solution outlines or proposals. • Developing solution architecture and design documents. • Implement solutions, ie: server builds, comms equipment configurations. Skills and experience requirements:
• 5+ years' experience as a Senior Engineer. • Experience and preferably certifications in VMWare, Microsoft Server and Messaging, and Storage Technologies. • Working knowledge of switching, routing, firewall and security devices. • Ability to perform within a strongly commercial environment. • Ability to communicate well with clients and set/meet expectations. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Strong verbal and written English skills, and confident communication and presentation are a must for this role. Highly Desirable Technology Experience in:
• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008. • Microsoft Active Directory 2003 and 2008. • Microsoft Exchange 2007 or 2010. • VMWare vSphere 4 and vCenter 4. • Servers and Storage (any leading vendor). • Backup and Archiving Products (any leading vendor) Preferable Technology Experience in:
• VMware View • ShadowProtect • HP EVA and NetApp Storage. • IPTel - VoIP • Citrix • Antivirus Protection • Cisco, SonicWall or HP networking, wireless or security.
